Ms. Li delivers comprehensive legal services to domestic and international companies and funds, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, venture capital, cross-border investments, fund formation, real estate, banking and finance, and general corporate matters. Her expertise spans diverse industries, including traditional sectors such as real estate development and apartment leasing, as well as emerging fields like telecommunications, internet technology, healthcare, entertainment, foreign-invested schools, and education.

Ms. Li represents major investment banks, private equity funds and Fortune 500 multi-national companies in their China-related transactions. Her clients include Blackstone, Warburg Pincus, Primavera Capital, Goldman Sachs, Hillhouse Capital, ESR Group, CINDAT Capital, Alibaba, DNE Group, and others.  Ms. Li has handled a variety of transactions involving equity, debt investment and cross-border M&A, with extensive experience particularly in China’s domestic real estate industry.

Represented GHC Capital on the acquisition of three Livat Meeting Place centers from Ingka Group and the establishment of an RMB-denominated real estate fund.
Represented Goldman Sachs, PAG and Gaw Capital Partners on the sale of their interests in Shanghai Ciro’s Plaza.
Represented a consortium formed by ESR and GIC on the RMB 4.4 billion acquisition from DLJ Capital of a portfolio of 11 logistics and industrial projects, representing the largest acquisition of a portfolio of existing logistics and industrial assets in the Shanghai metropolitan area to date.
Represented Primavera Capital Group on the acquisition of the Greater China infant nutrition business of Reckitt Benckiser Group (including the Mead Johnson brand), providing full-scope PRC legal services for the transaction.
Represented ESR on the establishment of an RMB-denominated infrastructure fund with Taikang Insurance Group and the injection of eight projects into the fund, with an aggregate disposal value of approximately RMB 5.8 billion.
Represented ESR on the establishment of the ESR China Development Platform (ECDP) with APG and GIC, a China-focused development platform with investment capacity of up to US$4 billion and one of the largest logistics development funds in China, focusing on modern warehouse infrastructure in key city clusters.
Represented Goldman Sachs on the establishment of a joint venture platform with Sunjade and the acquisition of a first portfolio of logistics assets in tier-one Chinese cities comprising approximately 240,000 sq.m. of warehouse space.
Represented Mofang Apartment on the issuance of an asset-backed securitization product backed by trust beneficiary rights, representing the first apartment-sector asset-backed securitization in China.
