His practice covers technical sectors including biopharmaceuticals, chemistry, chemical engineering, and medical devices. His professional services include patent drafting and prosecution, patent searches and advisory services, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis, patent reexamination and invalidation proceedings, IP civil and administrative litigation, IP due diligence, licensing, and other related legal matters. Patent Drafting and Prosecution: Handled hundreds of patent applications for various domestic and international innovators, covering different types of cross-border and domestic filings. Clients include well-known enterprises and research institutions in China and abroad.
Patent Analysis and Strategy: Provided patent portfolio strategy and patent landscaping services for a pharmaceutical product of a listed company in Beijing; delivered patent navigation services for in vitro diagnostic reagents for a high-tech industrial development zone in China.
Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) Analysis: Conducted FTO searches and analyses for a dental robotics company in Shenzhen, a robotics company in Shanghai, a multinational pharmaceutical company in the United States, and a pharmaceutical company in Shandong.
IP Due Diligence: Provided patent due diligence services for a well-known state-owned pharmaceutical company in connection with its investments in a protein drug project and a cardiovascular medical device project; also provided patent due diligence services for a state-owned investment fund in its investment in a medical device project.
IP Services in IPO Projects: Provided comprehensive intellectual property legal services to an issuer preparing for an initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Patent Invalidation Litigation: Represented patent owners in litigation concerning patents relating to an EGFR inhibitor, a catalyst, and a medical device; represented petitioners in filing patent invalidation requests against patents relating to a catalyst and a polymer chemical product.
Patent Infringement Litigation: Provided legal services in patent infringement litigation between a chemical enterprise and a foreign company; also represented a multinational company in a patent infringement dispute in the biotechnology field.
Other Technology-Related Disputes: Provided legal services in a trade secret dispute between a chemical company in Jiangsu and its foreign partner, and in a trade secret misappropriation case involving a medical device company in Hunan arising from the departure of former employees.
